Day 2 Dominance: Warner's Brilliance and Jamal's Debut Delight Propel Australia against Pakistan in Opening Test

Image
At the end of Day 2 (Stumps) : Australia scored 487 in their first innings, and Pakistan, in response, is 132/2. Warner Shines in the Opening Test & Jamal Gets 6 on Debut: D. Warner came out guns blazing, with Pakistan's bowling failing to capitalize on the pitch. The medium pace bowling never looked threatening, apart from occasional Jaffas. Shaheen Afridi was all over the place, ending with figures of 96/1 and an economy of 3.56. He eventually gained control, but Warner and Australia went after him. With the inexperienced bowling squad, Warner fully took advantage and played as if in an ODI match. Khurram bowled some good defensive channels, but overall, it was a terrible bowling display with an average economy of 4.29. Aamir Jamal took 6 wickets on debut with some unplayable Jaffas, a fantastic achievement. Key Performances: - D Warner 164 - M. Marsh 90 - A Jamal 6 for 111 - K. Shahzad 2 for 83 The pitch appeared to have bounce, seam movement, and perhaps some sw...

Pakistan vs Australia 1st Test Match Preview: Shan Masood's Captaincy, Squad Analysis, and Expectations

Image
In the previous blog post here , I delved into a potential Pakistan XI for the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia Test Series. Shan Masood, the captain of the national team, presents a different perspective, and rightly so. THE ANNOUNCED SQUAD:  While our agreement extends to about 70% of the squad, including openers and middle-order players like Abdullah, Imam, Shan, Babar, Saud, Sarfaraz, Faheem, and Shaheen, there are still concerns we need to address. Why did I select them? The straightforward answer is that THERE IS NOBODY ELSE... kidding. Although our consensus stands at 70%, there are lingering questions about Imam's form, especially against Australia. Saud, a technically gifted left-hander, needs to make his mark on the big stage, particularly in the middle order. And please, for the love of ****, Sarfaraz needs to dive for those catches. His role will be crucial in setting up a big total or leading a rescue mission. Babar Azam: Well, less said, the better 🤐...his ...

First Test match (14th December) Pakistan's Playing XI and Perth Conditions - Sajid Khan replaces Abrar Ahmed!

Image
Latest: Abrar Ahmed is out with a leg injury and will not be available for the first match. Off-spinner, Sajid Khan replaces him.  My Playing XI Strategy for Perth Stadium: Perth Stadium Pitch Conditions: - Modern Venue:  Perth Stadium, a modern venue, features a drop-in pitch that tends to be true and consistent, offering less traditional pace and bounce compared to the WACA Ground. - Batting-Friendly:  The pitch is generally considered more batting-friendly, allowing for stroke play and potentially favouring spin bowlers as the match progresses. - Pace Bowling:  While there is still assistance for pacers, it may not be as pronounced as the traditional WACA surface.   Pakistan's Revised Playing XI Strategy : In response to the nuances of Perth Stadium, the playing XI is adjusted to strike a balance between pace and spin, considering the more batting-friendly nature of the pitch. Opening Duo: 1. Abdullah Shafiq 2. Imam-ul-Haq Middle Order Powerhouses: 3. Shan Ma...

As a globe-trotter, the prospect of navigating unfamiliar territories often comes with concerns about transportation hassles. While physical tickets and alternative payment methods exist, the ease of using contactless payments significantly simplifies the life of a visitor. Here's a quick guide on using contactless payments for your Amsterdam travels: Check Acceptance: Ensure that the transport you're using supports contactless payments. I successfully used this method on trams and trains. Tap In and Out: Crucial for a smooth journey. During my return to the airport, I boarded a train at Amsterdam Central, ...

TEMU App Review: Unveiling the Truth Behind Ultra-Low Prices and Bargain Shopping

Image
TEMU App Review: Are Ultra-Low Prices Too Good to Be True? Personal Experience: Testing TEMU's Waters with 10 Unbelievably Affordable Items TEMU's ads flood social media, enticing users with ultra-low-cost products. Scepticism abounds, but I decided to test the waters. I ordered 10 items, avoiding high-end products, and the grand total of 117.80 dropped to a mere 40 euros after bargain discounts. The process was swift, and my package arrived within 7 days, a refreshing change from the usual lengthy shipping times. Navigating TEMU: Bargains, Discounts, and Quality Concerns TEMU's perpetual sale vibe is both attractive and suspicious. The prices are shockingly low, but does the quality match? My unboxing experience revealed well-packaged products of decent quality, with one unfortunate exception - a damaged item. The titles under products are lengthy, and overlooking details like size can lead to ordering mishaps. See some of the bargains below:  TEMU Ethics and Data Privacy:...
